* At Acorn Cottage we use only non-chlorine Baqua spa chemicals for our hot tub. Baqua Spa is a wonderful chlorine and bromine free way to sanitize spa water. There is no odor, the water feels softer and is much easer on the skin. Much more stable than both chlorine and bromine it creates a more evenly sanitized and therefore safer spa.

 
Welcome to Acorn Cottage

One of the nicest and closest rental cabins to Wolf Creek Ski Area, this two story picturesque comfortable log cabin is nestled on the mountainside of the San Juan River Village in a clearing in the woods, surrounded by wildflowers, deer, Elk, Wild Turkeys, and many other species of wild birds and wildlife, 1/2 mile off  Hwy. 160 and 7 miles North East from Pagosa Hot Springs. It has been recently remodeled and redecorated. We just added a non-chlorine spa on the deck where there are breathtaking views of the San Juan Mountains and the Continental Divide. It also has a peek-a-boo view of the San Juan River from the master bedroom balcony and the kitchen, which is below us in the river valley. You can even hear it's rushing waters in the Spring. Pagosa Springs is a great place to visit all year long!

We are located in the beautiful San Juan Mountains at an altitude of about 8500 ft. overlooking the surrounding mountains and the San Juan River below.  Close by are Wolf Creek Ski Area, the continental divide, Natural Hot Springs, every outdoors sport you can think of and the town of Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
