This little cottage does not disappoint! I always wanted to stay at a place like this—and Acorn Cottage was just perfect for our winter vacation with friends. The location was ideal being close to skiing and also Pagosa Springs. It was cozy but yet we all had plenty of privacy with the well designed floor plan. The four of us loved the warm and tasteful decor that was like being at grandma’s quaint mountain retreat.

I highly recommend staying at Acorn cottage. It is beautifully appointed with everything you need (including kitchen condiments and utensils). We biked into pagosa and enjoyed the hot springs (a must) but honestly, we enjoyed the hot tub and looking at the stars in the luxury of this special place better.

We stayed at Alpine, Pamela’s other property. Location, top notch. The cabin itself is amazing. From the views to the deck to the hot tub her home is not to be missed if you’re traveling to Pagosa or surrounding areas. The amenities are there, the beds are comfortable and the overall vibe of the cabin is wonderful. Do yourself a favor, why stay at a big box hotel when you could have your own special place. Added talking point, Elizabeth Taylor may have stayed at this cabin. Who can say that? Can’t praise it enough. We’ll be back. Thanks Pamela!

We enjoyed the cabin very much and we would love to come back. This place in beautifully decorated and was very comfy and cozy to stay in. The beds were comfortable, the hot tub was relaxing, and there were plenty of movies to choose from for a night in. Also, there were plenty of amenities like shampoo, conditioner, body gel, and lotion for the 4 of us.

Acorn Cabin is the perfect place to stay in Pagosa Springs! It’s close enough (10 minute drive) to town for everything you want to do, but you can come home to a quiet cabin, listen to nature, and see a sky full of stars (while sitting in the hot tub!). The cabin had all of the amenities you could want and was very comfortable. I live in a busy city and this was the perfect place to get away and relax. I’d recommend it to anyone!

Private cabin in great location. Bathrooms seemed to be recently redone and everything was clean. The decor and accommodations were very cozy with lots of throw blankets, rugs and rustic decor. Close to Pagosa Springs with quick access to Wolf Creek. We enjoyed a quiet weekend of hiking.

This cabin is the perfect retreat for a couple, a group of friends or a family. We stayed for three days in mid May and it was so quiet and peaceful. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was super comfortable and the decor was an awesome mix of vintage, rustic, southwestern and western that really made the cabin feel unique and special. My husband and I used the hot tub every night while gazing up at an unobstructed night sky full of stars. It was also nice to be only 10 mins away from Pagosa Springs and only an hour from Durango if we wanted to run to town or visit the hot springs. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our own meals and the two bathrooms were so nice and the perfect size. There were tons of DVDs and Netflix which were the perfect option when it was raining or cold outside. We will definitely stay here again in the future if we vacation in the area. This cabin is a bargain and well worth the price considering a hotel would not come close to having all the charm and amenities that Pamela’s cabin has and would likely cost almost as much or even more.
